THE MYSTERY OF THE STURBRIDGE KEYS is now revised! It is available as an eBook and softcover from http://www.iUniverse.com.

The revision of THE MYSTERY OF THE STURBRIDGE KEYS, a time travel, historical fiction novel, takes the cast of characters through the yesteryears of Old Sturbridge Village in 1830. Little known facts of the Underground Railroad, Harriet Beecher Stowe, Harriet Tubman, and Presidents Abraham Lincoln, Andrew Jackson, George Washington, Zachary Taylor, John Tyler, James Madison, Thomas Jefferson, Jimmy Carter and Barak Obama make for intriguing reading.

Even President John Quincy Adams makes an appearance in this historical account which mentions him, as one of the famous people who traveled on the Hartford – Worcester Turnpike, with a major stop at Old Sturbridge Village.

Abolitionist history unfolds in this book, with the local flavor of the Samuel L. Hill House and the Ross Farm in Northampton, as part of the utopian community called the Northampton Association of Education and Industry, about nine towns from Sturbridge.

Other safe houses mentioned are the Elisha Hammond House, the Dorsey-Jones House, the Hall Judd House, and even the house of the Rev. Rufus Ellis at 48 Pomeroy Terrace in Northampton.

More excitement takes place as some of the family stays in real time, visiting all of houses, churches and buildings of Old Sturbridge Village, while other members of their family travel through ancient and pre-history, discovering accurate Bible history along the way.

Brie is the young female protagonist of the book, and gets abducted by one of the Nephilim, meets Noah and his family, and gets to babysit Jesus.

This is a book not to miss.

Mendon, Rev. Adin Ballot and Morgan Horses In This Book

Highlights from MYSTERY OF THE STURBRIDGE KEYS to be watching out for include local landmarks, including Lake Nipmuc, Route 16 and Taft Avenue in Mendon, Massachusetts;  the Nipmuc Native American Nation. Morgan horses, the Rev. Adin Ballot, how the Quakers have been promoting women’s rights in the 1600s, and how immigration took place in the 1800s when our forefathers arrive to the United States.

The Nipmuc Native American Nation was called Nipnet. It extended south to Rhode Island, home to the Narragansett Native American Nation; north to New Hampshire and Vermont, home to the Pennacook and Wawinak Native American Nations; west to the Pocomtuc and Mohican Native American Nation; and east to the Massachusett, Wampanoag and  Nauset Native American Nations.

The greater Mendon area has numerous historical footprints of the Nipmuc Native American Nation, such as the gleaming shores of Lake Nipmuc. It was a pleasure to grow up in this area. Old Sturbridge Village is the setting of this fiction work of art. From here half of the family members in this book time travel back into history, ancient history and pre-history. They are very surprised to learn what they learn.

Horse lovers will appreciate knowing that the two fictional Morgan horses in this fiction novel, are from Figure, the real horse owned by Justin Morgan. He was a teacher, composer and horseman who lived in Springfield, Massachusetts. It was the practice in 1830 to call the horse by the owners name. Figure’s colt became the founding sire of the Morgan breed. These horses are known for their charisma and companionableness.

The Morgan horses in this story are named Gitche and Manitou. Gitche Manitou is the Native American name for Great Spirit, God. Morgan horses are also able to out walk, out run and out pull any other breed of horse, making them a perfect fit for the Old Sturbridge Village setting.

The Rev. Adin Ballot was a real person who influenced Mendon through the Mendon Unitarian Church, a sister church to Hopedale. Much of his humanitarian and religious philosophy has trickled down to this day.

The Quakers were one of the first group to promote women and women’s rights. They even allowed women to speak and teach at the Religious Society of Friends Meetinghouse. Additionally they also promoted women authors.

When it comes to immigration, this book takes a look at what the people of 1830 had to do to come to this beautiful United States of America. It is good to remember.

Jesus Was Born In September Or October While The Shepherds Were Out With Their Flocks By Night

Pagan customs and traditions were so popular in the days of Noah’s  great-grandson, Nimrod, that when Jesus was born approximately 3,000 years later, Christians tried to convert pagans by placing the birth of Jesus on the major holiday celebrating the pagan god of the sun.

What was the result of mixing the teaching of Jesus, God’s only Son, with the false sun god?

How many people know what these week long celebrations elevating Nimrod, as Mithras, the beloved sun god entailed?

This knowledge would send a chill down the spine of any human being with a pulse.

MYSTERY OF THE STURBRIDGE KEYS, subtitled, CHRISTMAS UNLOCKED, takes its characters back in time to discover first-hand where all of these popular and no-so-popular traditions and customs originated.

This historical fiction book also depicts how many of these insidious traditions still exist today, imbedded in the maligned rendition of the birth of Jesus. There is another reason for the season.

MYSTERY OF THE STURBRIDGE KEYS is based on accurate world, ancient, antediluvian and Bible history. It may be purchased as an eBook and softcover through iUniverse.com.
