MYSTERY OF THE STURBRIDGE KEYS has two major themes running throughout this dramatic, time travel book of human possibilities:

There is one race, the human race.

The arrival of this unique historical fiction novel re-opens history which in some cases has remained locked. It addresses the real history of Christmas and where the origins of the Santa Claus myths; and fresh insights to the Babylonian, Mede-Persian, Greek and Roman Empires, with connections to Noah and his sons, as they spread throughout the world. While this is a fiction/fantasy novel, the history, ancient and pre-history is accurate and plausible.

Brie is the thirteen year-old protagonist, who along with her cousin and best friend, eleven year-old Abby, their Grammy Rose and Aunt Cher (Abby’s mother), goes back in real history to live out and learn important historical events, via a set of antique keys found in a huddle library in Old Sturbridge Village.

Meanwhile Brie’s brother Greg, their mother, Sarah, and Abby’s twin brother, Abe, remain in real-time, sharing adventures on a horse-drawn sleigh and Stage Coach carriage, observing animals from Southwick’s Zoo in the live manger scene complete with a Bactrian camel, and taking them to numerous historical presentations throughout Old Sturbridge Village, and an encounter with a dangerous wild wolf. Throughout the annual Christmas by Candlelight celebration, they learn about Harriet Tubman and the Underground Railroad, the Panic of 1837, Adin Ballot, Hopedale, Hopedale commune, the Babylonians, Medea, Persians, Greeks and Romans, and how ancient history shaped the people of 1830, which filters down to our present day Christmas customs and traditions.

While MYSTERY OF THE STURBRIDGE KEYS is suggested for people of all ages, it is particularly targeted to young adult audiences, from pre-teen to those in their 20s and 30s, because it provides room for differences of opinion in all matters, soul searching and character building, all while building upon accurate history, ancient and plausible pre-history. This allows individuals the breath of thought, to be able to consider for themselves things that they may never have pondered before, or might possibly reconsider in a new light.

The First Olympics

The first Olympics took place in the year 776 BCE, with Alexander I, the Image result for picture of first olympics predecessor of Alexander the Great participating. Alexander I could only participate after he proved his Greek heritage. These great sporting contests took place in the Greek city of Olympia, named after Queen Olympia, wife of King Phillip II. This information comes to light in the newly released historical fiction/fantasy book, MYSTERY OF THE STURBRIDGE KEYS.

Abe, Greg and Greg’s mother, Sarah, are attending one of the special workshops on the Greek Empire and its effects on Old Sturbridge Village in the 1830s. The evening kicks off with the Christmas by Candlelight celebration, which is celebrating its 70th Anniversary this year. Many workshops take place in the Village buildings.

This trio attends many of the fictions workshops taking place during this special night, by horse-drawn sleigh rides over snow-packed, dirt roads. The Greek Empire explaining how Aristotle is the tutor of Alexander the Great, and Plutarch affect history during this time.

Gracing the beginning pages of the book is a quote from Plutarch: “To be ignorant of the lives of the most celebrated men of antiquity is to continue in a state of childhood all our days.”

Thank you all for the tremendous success of the début of this book. There were two book front-cover signings, one at Barnes and Noble Bookstores at the Shoppe at Blackstone Valley in Millbury, MA, where 20 copies of Mystery of the Sturbridge Keys sold out; and The Bird Store And More, which was another success in the month of December 2016. Anyone who wants to know the real origin of Christmas will find this to be a must-read book. The subtitle of this book is, “Christmas Unlocked.” The accurate ancient history of Christmas and holiday traditions will be very enlightening for all who have an interest in this particular holiday, and wish to know how the holiday’s customs and popular traditions really got its start.

I am a retired certified Qigong instructor (2011), teaching Qigong healing and breathing applications for levels 1, 2 and 3. Qigong is a 4,000 year old Chinese medicine practice that moves “chi,” the life giving energy of the body. The health-promoting effects of Qigong are:

This particular Qigong Class included a food component, tying the energy of food to the energy of Qigong, and using food as medicine. Chemical medications attempt to mimic the benefits and properties of organic plant life, including fruits and vegetables and using their stems, spores and seeds. Clinical studies have been done on so many diseases, like diabetes, which can be reversed by eating certain foods high in phytochemicals. I wish to share the information I have learned about how foods work to heal our bodies.

All Christians boast of knowing only 3 years of knowing what Jesus said and taught, and of course those famous 12 years of his childhood when he was found speaking with the rabbis in the temple. Humanity has never been told what they were discussing. All we know is that they were astounded at his accurate knowledge.

What did Jesus and the rabbis discuss? Why was this information kept secret? Wouldn’t you like to know more than 3 years of only some of what Jesus taught? Who would not want you to know that?

How would you like to only be known for first 12 childhood years of your life, and then only some of what you said and did from your ages 30-33?

Now I study all the words and actions of Jesus Christ, including his travels from Jerusalem by land routes to Iran, Afghanistan, and India, as well as by water routes when he traveled with his uncle, Joseph of Arimathea, a trader of tin, when they crossed the Persian Gulf and the Arabian Sea, not to mention their Red Sea travels.

But how would you ever know this if you did not allow yourself to learn all the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, not just those famous 3 years pontificated about in all modern bibles.

Who is it exactly who is telling you not to continue learning, calling all other words of Jesus apocryphal because his words taught deeper and more profound realities other than the indoctrinations of the religious gurus of that time?

You have a right to know all the words Jesus taught and make up your own mind. Now is the time to get out from under cult-like indoctrinations of most mind-control religions. Now if the time to discover all of what Jesus taught, not only some of it.

In the meantime, here we all are, some of us hurting in one way or another, others of us have questions, or are simply need encouragement. There are natural remedies out there without horrific side-effects. I will share common sense solutions that work naturally.

I will make no suggestions as to any chemical solutions. I refer all who seek such remedies to see their own doctors.

In my life’s physical work, some clients were referred to me by doctors prior to their patient’s surgery, only to find that the surgeries were no longer needed after the massage bodywork therapy protocol.

I have personally successfully helped people eliminate pain associated with migraine headaches, sciatica, and neck, shoulder, arm, back, hip, leg and feet pain. I suggest massage therapy should be the first protocol for muscle pains in the body, addressing pain by the least invasive method of treatment first, and prior to chemical medicinal approaches, which often have negative side effects.

I operated by own business for 12 years in New Hampshire. Then we moved to Connecticut and again started THE MASSAGE CLINIC where I personally worked on more than 5,000 of the 8,000 clients who came to The Massage Clinic LLC for help.

I believe Eastern Medicine (naturopathic and homeopathy) and Western Medicine (surgery and drug therapy) ought to work together, as in complementary approaches, rather than the alternative approach, which implies one medicinal approach over the other. Both systems need each other to be whole. Most modern healing facilities have integrated both approaches very well.

Mental, emotional and spiritual crisis is often at the root of physical illness. Addressing the realities of our lives, with a direct approach and a vision for wellness and health is the key for healing. Focusing on healing leads to healing. Focusing on illness keeps people ill, mentally, emotionally, spirituality and physically.

Since people’s spirituality is part of their whole health and well-being, I became a Universal Life Church Christian minister. While in the ULC Seminary I came to better understand all faiths. While I understand after years of studying and promoting New Age ideologies, I returned to my Christian roots, then continued my educations to finally discover what has been hidden from you. Jesus tells us not to be called Rabbi, Teacher or Leader, or any other religious title. Likewise, I do not go by the religious title Reverend. I do the work Jesus taught us to teach and pass on to others.

My calling in this life is modeled after that of Jesus, who did not have a church, and went out to where the people are.
